Description

Make a visible difference for Friendship Court families by helping with a heavy duty cleaning of the community center and a walking clean-up of the neighborhood grounds. Friendship Court Apartments is home to 150 low-income families and more than 250 children. Piedmont Housing Alliance's Community Organizer and community center staff help families connect with the many different programs and services at the community center, including community building events and meetings, computer lab and classes, afterschool tutoring and enrichment, nutritious meals, sports and exercise programs, parenting classes, and more. Q: Driving Directions
A: Head south on Emmet Street; turn left onto University Avenue and continue on Main Street; turn right onto Ridge Street; turn left onto Monticello Avenue; turn left into Friendship Court Apartments; go right into parking lot and continue left, parking near where road comes to an end at mailbox courtyard; the community center is in the building to the right (on the left-hand side).
