The Lewis & Clark Exploratory Center is in the midst of a great transformation. We are becoming the Corps of Discovery Center- keeping the historical name while expanding our reach to honor all members of the Expedition and become a community space of exploration and discovery, with speakers, music, art and community events.
We could use help sanding and painting three wooden canoes that will be used as children’s play spaces/examples of traditional boats- one canoe will be fitted with a flag naming it the “Friend Ship”
We could also use help with power washing the large patio and the large windows. General site assistance- weeding and possibly helping clear a storage shed(s)
We also have indoor tables that can be cleaned/stained.
