

Who We Are
Agnor Elementary School is a Title one School serving students from varied socioeconomic & cultural backgrounds. It's is one of sixteen elementary schools in the Albemarle County School Division. Agnor Elementary is located on Berkmar Drive, which runs parallel to Route 29, the major access road to Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The school opened its doors to students on September 8, 1992. It is situated on a hill that overlooks the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The site includes 20 acres, surrounded by woods, and includes a soccer field, amphitheater, and playgrounds. The Agnor district includes areas west and east of Route 29 to the north fork of the Rivanna River and is a part of the northern feeder pattern. Its students will later attend Jackson P. Burley Middle School or Jack Jouett Middle School and all of its students will attend Albemarle High School.
