Who We Are

In addition to the the areas included below, our building is used weekly as a meeting place for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, an African congregation and a woman's support group. During the summer months, AIM self-defense classes also meet here.

We financially support numerous ministries and organizations locally, regionally and internationally.

180 Connection Children’s Ministry

  • We train children of all ages with the Word of God, the love of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • We strive to provide all children with a safe, loving, fun-filled atmosphere where they can learn how to build a relationship with Jesus that will grow as they mature.
  • Through the use of effective, age appropriate, cutting edge curriculums, children establish a strong biblical foundation, learn leadership skills and the integrity needed to help them rise above the challenges they face in today’s world.

Christian Education

  • As Christians, we are disciples (followers) of Jesus Christ and desire to learn and live like Jesus. Discipleship is a process which enables a believer to grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and be ready to give testimony for the hope that is within us. I Peter 3:15
  • We desire believers be grounded in the Word of God and the foundational teachings of Christ. We aim to equip believers for the work of the ministry and provide various learning opportunities, including book and DVD based bible studies covering relevant topics. Check the website or call the church for the current studies available.

Men’s Ministry

  • Bible study and weekly Saturday morning fellowship.

Praise and Worship

  • At Word of Faith, praise and worship has always been a priority.
  • Worship services provide an atmosphere where believers and those still searching can connect with God. The goal of every service is to worship God and experience His life changing presence.
  • Fine Arts
    • Touching hearts by visibly demonstrating the gospel.
    • Dance is presented by the Wonders team. Sign language becomes an effective means of communicating without the spoken word and is done by the Signs team. Drama, used to creatively share the gospel, is performed by the Acts team.
  • Special Music
    • An opportunity for singers and musicians to minister an anointed song that enhances the worship experience.

Women’s Ministry

  • Women of Faith sponsor special times of worship, fellowship and refreshing throughout the year.
  • The annual Women’s Conference in the fall invites ladies from various churches in Virginia and surrounding states to join together for rest, relaxation, fellowship, teaching and ministry from the Word of God.

 UTX Youth Ministry

  • Maximizing teen’s potential through training in Christ-likeness.
  • Age appropriate classes for a time of learning and spiritual maturing; 2nd and 4th Sundays and each Wednesday.
  • Special events, camps and missions trips are coordinated by the youth team.

What We Do

We are an international worship center. The purpose of our church is to glorify God by gathering the harvest, growing the saints and generating leaders.

Our vision is to...

  • Create an atmosphere of worship where you can encounter God.
  • Touch our community and reach the world with the love of God.

  • Develop mature, stable, faith-based overcomers of all ages.
