Remote Area Medical Fishersville RAM Clinic

Who We Are

Our team, called a Community Host Group (CHG), is comprised of eight individuals who lead and co-lead our three Clinic Planning Committees. Each committee has between 10 and 15 members who are sourced from the University of Virginia Remote Area Medical Chapter.

What We Do

Our team, alongside the University of Virginia RAM Chapter, is hosting a free, pop-up clinic in Fishersville and the Central Virginia Region to provide dental, vision, and medical care to people in need in our community. Our clinic is scheduled to occur at the Augusta Expo Event Center on November 19-20, 2022. Remote Area Medical (RAM)® is a major nonprofit provider of free pop-up clinics. Their mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality healthcare to those in need. RAM does this through their pop-up clinic program that is open to the public at no cost. Since its founding in 1985, RAM’s corps of more than 155,000 volunteers—licensed dental, vision, medical and veterinary professionals—have treated more than 835,000 individuals and 68,500 animals and delivered more than $150 million worth of free care. We are excited to work in the Central Virginia region and have been working closely with local community organizations to ensure we are bringing the highest quality, most sought-after care possible to our patients.
