Who We Are

Jefferson-Madison Regional Library is a public library that serves a population of 200,000 residents, with nine locations and a Bookmobile. With combined holdings of over 500,000 items, JMRL annually circulates over 1,600,000 items such as books, DVDs, audio CDs, maker kits, toy library kits, health literacy kits, memory kits, nature backpacks, museum passes and more. Library users have access to online databases, downloadable books, magazines and streaming video 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The library provides free programs for children, teens and adults throughout the year on a variety of topics. Libraries are for everyone!
