Who We Are

Founded in 1969, Madison House facilitates student-led volunteer programs that address the needs of Charlottesville-Albemarle community members, in partnership with the University of Virginia and 100+ non-profit organizations.

What We Do

At Madison House, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive community of student volunteers who are committed to making a difference in our local community and the world. Our goal is to connect students with meaningful volunteer initiatives and learning opportunities that address critical needs in the community, while also promoting personal growth and leadership development. We offer community engagement opportunities in four service tracks: Animals & Environment, Education & Youth, Health & Medical, and Human Services.
