Who We Are
Christian Aid Mission is an evangelical missionary organization based in Charlottesville, Virginia, that assists indigenous missionary ministries overseas through prayer, advocacy and financial support. Since 1953, Christian Aid Mission has identified, evaluated and assisted more than 1,500 ministries in more than 130 countries that are reaching the unreached for Christ in areas of the world where there is no witness for Christ, where Christians suffer from poverty or persecution, or where foreign missionaries are not allowed. What We Do
Christian Aid Mission serves as a bridge between believers and churches in the U.S. and other industrialized countries who want to support and pray for the effective work being done by indigenous missionaries overseas.
We serve these indigenous ministries by functioning as their U.S. headquarters, advocating for their needs in areas of the world with greater resources.
We extensively evaluate each ministry verifying their faith, financial integrity and fruitfulness. Then we make their ministry known to Christians with the goal of raising financial support for their work.
The indigenous ministries are involved in
> Evangelism > Child care & education > Feeding the hungry
> Discipleship > Wells & clean water > Prison ministry
> Missionary training & support > Vocational training > Disaster relief
> Church planting > Income generating projects > Human trafficking
> Bible translation & distribution > Helping the poor > Medical outreach
