Who We Are
Georgia's House, the signature initiative of Georgia's Friends, Inc. provides a safe and structured living environment to assist women in early recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction and mental health challenges, to heal and become healthy, self-reliant and productive members of our community.
What We Do
We give support and guidance to women who are healing and in need of a home where they can find hope and strength to rebuild their lives. The home offers privacy as well as community support. Applicants are carefully screened to minimize disruptive behaviors, and those selected must be committed to sobriety and emotional well-being.
An individualized healing plan is created with each applicant. A navigator works with each woman to assist her to connect to community resources. Assistants stay at the house throughout the day and night for additional support.
