Literacy Volunteers Charlottesville/Albemarle is seeking volunteer tutors to assist adults in learning how to read, write, or speak English. Many of our students are refugees and immigrants.
Wondering if becoming a tutor is right for you? Come to an information session to learn more about our mission, our students, and what it takes to be a literacy volunteer. This one hour session is a virtual and held on Zoom. You can learn more or register directly at literacyforall.org/tutors
Please note that volunteer tutors need to reside in the Greater Charlottesville area.
There are two options for this information session:
Tuesday, March 10 from 12-1 pm or 6:30 - 7:30 pm. If you cannot attend either event, you can still register for a recording. You can register directly here.
