Strap on your goggles and slip into your lab coat for Kid*Vention, Virginia Discovery Museum's annual family celebration of everything science!
Now in its 18th year, Kid*Vention is the region's largest science festival for elementary school-aged children and is traditionally attended by over 1,100 people. Over 40 exhibitors are scheduled to participate and include groups ranging from UVA student science clubs to Dark Skies, Bright Kids and the Society of Women Engineers. Last year's event welcomed over 1,000 visitors who had the chance to race robots, see their heartbeat, plant a tree, and make slime.
