We are planting nine hardwood trees (2" caliper; balled/burlapped) along the upper ball field fence line at Crozet Park. Holes will be pre-dug but we'll need volunteers to shape up the holes, plant and secure the trees. The Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards (CATS) will be joining us to help coordinate. Please bring work gloves and a shovel or two....
Compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers are needed to tutor adults in the Greater Charlottesville area in English speaking, reading, writing, or basic education. Many also need support in preparing for the U.S. Citizenship Interview.
