Responsibilities:

Help customers carry out and load purchases Receive donations from community members dropping them off Organize and rearrange items on the sales floor or in our warehouse

Ability to repeatedly move and lift 50-75lbs Courteous and professional demeanor when assisting customers and donors Willingness to work with diverse partner groups Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

The position of Off-site Pick-up Volunteer will work with a staff member to help donors get their items to the store thorough our pick-up service. This is a great opportunity for someone, or even two friends interested in helping the store to increase the capacity we have to receive donations. If you are curious about the impact of our mission, and looking for a way to be involved, The Habitat Truck is a great way to get started!

Our Habitat Store is looking for volunteers willing to work in a sometimes fast paced environment at our cashier station. Volunteers will be trained so they feel comfortable working with a POS (point of sale) system on a computer and interacting with many shoppers. Volunteers will also be trained to give excellent customer service and help answer questions. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to regular shifts!
