Do you enjoy social media curation? LEAP is looking for a volunteer to help spread the word of our impact on social media. LEAP regularly attends local events and connects with residents who need energy efficiency support. Our work is rooted in community and grassroots engagement. 

By volunteering with our organization, you are helping to get the word out about the critical work we perform for your neighbors each and every day. This means posting our photos and captions on instagram and facebook through our scheduling application, Later. Training and a walkthrough on the process would be provided for any volunteers looking to get involved. We're grateful for your support!

Do you have an interest in connecting with your neighbors and fellow community members? Consider volunteering to be an outreach person with LEAP!

Attend farmer's markets, partner events, and more when you volunteer your time with our organization. By connecting with residents at these events, you'd be sharing about our nonprofit organization and helping residents get connected to the energy support resources they need.

The Local Energy Alliance Program is looking for a volunteer who can routinely assist with client support from September 2026 to February 2027.

LEAP provides residents with energy efficiency support and free energy improvements, at no cost to them. The fall months are a critical period for us to connect with local renters and homeowners who need home assistance before utility costs skyrocket in the winter.

This volunteer role would include basic training on client engagement, with 4-8 hours of volunteering per week.
