Please join us to clear Oriental bittersweet and Japanese honeysuckle from trees and shrubs on field edges. If you’ve never removed this invasive vine before, no worries! Your workday leader will show you what to do. All hand tools will be provided, but please see the guide on what to wear and bring below. Volunteers as young as 9 are welcome provided they are supervised actively by an adult volunteer.

When: Sunday, May 2, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
Where: Meet at the parking area for Ivy Creek Natural Area. You can find directions on Ivy Creek Foundation’s.
What to Wear/Bring: Be sure to dress properly for the workday.
- Mask when we're not spread out 10 ft. apart
- Long pants, long sleeves, and boots or sneakers
- Work gloves
- Your wonderful selves!
Please note that any hand tools will be provided.
While working we will likely have interesting nature encounters such as finding groundhog holes, viewing unusual plants, and bird activity.
