Are you a passionate individual that loves to work with youth? Do you want to influence the everyday life of Club members through programs in our three pillars of Academic Success, Character and Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles? Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia is a place for Club member to learn, grow, and have fun! We are looking for engaging individuals who are dedicated to working with youth throughout the fall of 2017.
From coaching to conducting science experiments to art projects to homework help, there are a variety ways individuals can volunteer with Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia. We strive to connect all of our volunteers with opportunities that meet their interests while meeting the programmatic needs of the youth we serve.
Our #1 volunteer need this fall is helping Club members with their homework and reading skills during Power Hour. Power Hour takes place during the following times at our three Charlottesville Clubs:
Cherry Avenue: 2:45-4pm
Jouett/Greer: 3:30-4:30pm
Southwood: 4:30-5:30pm
