Description

Help cancer patients with limited or no transportation get to life-saving medical appointments.

Volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive patients to cancer-related treatment appointments.

Rides are weekdays. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Drivers are encouraged to provide a minimum of 2 rides per month.

Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with

  • a safe driving record,
  • a current license,
  • a reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.

Volunteers complete online training and background and motor vehicle checks. Vehicle insurance is required. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

We would love your help!
