Ishan Gala Foundation is in need of volunteers to help with their 12th annual Splash For A Cure 5K! This event is a family friendly fundraiser featuring a 5K following with an after party and fun in the pool. We need volunteers to help with set-up, safety on the 5K course, checkin tables, selling food and drink, and helping with crafts and activities.
This event is always a blast for volunteers and we see many returning to help because it's so fun and they know the impact they are making for local families fighting children's cancer. Volunteers can choose to help the whole event or for just a portion of the time. We begin setup at 6am and breakdown is at 12noon. The 5K begins at 8am and ends by 930 am. The festival goes from 8am-12 noon.
There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday August 22nd from 630-730pm with the opportunity to stay afterwards to help with race bag stuffing!
