The shop has a wonderful selection of merchandise including housewares, books, jewelry, handmade items and a garden section featuring plants and seeds from the Monticello garden. As a nonprofit organization, our retail sales are vital to help support our mission of education and preservation. We are seeking volunteers who enjoy organizing information as we strive to make our collection easily accessible to the public. No advanced knowledge of Jefferson is required, but an interest in the time period is helpful. Detail-oriented volunteers who enjoy digging into a project are welcome. We are seeking a commitment of about 4-6 hrs/week, during normal business hours.
