Volunteer: Drive Cancer Patients to TreatmentHelp cancer patients with limited or no transportation get to life-saving medical appointments. Volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery use their personal vehicle to drive patients to cancer-related treatment appointments. Rides are weekdays. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Drivers are encouraged to provide a minimum of 2 rides per month. Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with a safe driving record,a current license,a reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.Volunteers complete online training and background and motor vehicle checks.
