Photo editors review photos and edit / cull a reasonable number of good photos and post them to an on-line site for the event contact to approve. Photo editors are trained and supervised by the Photography Interns. Please fill out our Volunteer Application, or contact our volunteer coordinator at music-volunteer-coordinator@virginia.edu with your portfolio or any questions.  Editors can work in the office in Old Cabell Hall, or at home.  We prefer volunteers with knowledge of music and photo composition

Photo volunteers take photographs of concerts, events, lectures, faculty, students, visiting scholars and artists. As the operational members are usually focused with more important tasks during events and gatherings, we often don’t have the ability to capture media of what we are doing.

This position would be ideal for a person with a moderate background in professional photography.

This is a charismatic person with good communication and organizational skills to help our membership and recruitment committees with outreach and onboarding of potential members.

We are an all-volunteer organization.  We need someone to help us to rebuild/update our existing website in WordPress and also provide some instruction so we can maintain it ourselves in the future.  Our website can be found at:  www.louisacart.org

The administrator will help the agency deal with its 19 programs. Duties include thanking donors, writing grants, help directors throughout Virginia, and keep a check on the Executive Director. 

Volunteers needed to perform data entry for The Activists’ Guide, the on-line directory of activists events and organizations for the Charlottesville/Ablemarle area. All work remote. Devise your own schedule.
