Description

Come be a part of history at Jackson P. Burley Middle School's Day of Caring! Our school is a national historic landmark for Black excellence as the former Black High School for our region. We continue to be a center of excellence in education in Charlottesville and Albemarle, serving the most diverse student population of all the county's middle schools with great success in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

On this day, you will have an opportunity to beautify our school with your family and friends by spreading mulch, pulling weeds, planting flowers, trimming trees and bushes, and making our school shine in beauty the way it does in our hearts.
