Description

The Virginia Discovery Museum envisions a future in which all children in our community are inspired to be lifelong learners. We seek to be a vital community resource where children from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds explore, imagine and discover together. Be a part of changing the lives of local children this Day of Caring!


Volunteers will assist staff in deep cleaning, painting, organizing, and light construction. Refreshing out galleries ensures local children have a clean, safe, and welcoming space to play and grow!

A: You must be age 18 or older to participate.

A: A catered lunch option will be available with vegetarian and vegan options. Volunteers will also have time to grab lunch on the mall if they'd prefer.
