Who We Are

The Piedmont Habitat partners with individuals, churches, businesses, civic organizations, government, schools, and other nonprofits to make a lasting impact in the community.

What We Do

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In a nutshell, we build homes and we repair homes. But it is much deeper than that. We work with individuals and families who are willing to partner with us by working alongside volunteers to build or repair their home, attending homeowner education classes, and paying an affordable mortgage. We believe that through shelter we help individuals build strength, stability, and self-reliance. Better, affordable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development, and the ability and financial flexibility to make forward-looking choices. And as neighbors join together to lend a helping hand, a true sense of community is built.
