Highlights
- High school programs offered in the following areas: Dental Assistant, Music Industry Technology, Auto Body Repair, AutoTechnology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Building Trades, EMT, Firefighting, Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician, Computer Networking
- Career awareness/orientation outreach programs provided by CATEC staff are available to elementary, middle, and high school students in all city and county schools.
- Wide variety of adult education programs offered in evenings to community members 16 years of age and older.
What We Do
The Charlottesville Albemarle Technical Education Center is a regional technical education center serving students in central Virginia. We are jointly operated by Albemarle County Public Schools and Charlottesville City Public Schools.
