What We Do
The UVA Hospital Auxiliary Hospitality House, part of the University of Virginia Health System, was founded in 1982 by the Hospital Auxiliary. Our House is a place to find refuge after a long day, a place where people know what you are going through and can help you cope, a place like home.
The Hospitality House is staffed by dedicated employees and volunteers who are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These special people share a compassion for our guests, and they do everything in their power to extend hospitality to make all our guests feel at home. They share the common goal of providing aid and comfort to patients and their families through volunteer service or fund-raising that directly benefits patients and their families.
