Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP)

Who We Are

The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) is a Charlottesville-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping residents in the area receive energy-saving resources and support.

What We Do

LEAP works closely with community members (especially seniors and households with limited income) to provide energy support services at no cost for those who qualify. These services include home energy assessments, weatherization improvements, and improvements that lower their utility bills.

Our goal is to amplify our accessibility to local residents so that they know who to turn to if they are struggling with their home energy improvement needs. We engage in outreach through canvassing, tabling at events, and volunteering time with partners in the Charlottesville community.
