The Front Porch

The Front Porch is a nonprofit dedicated to connecting people through music. We believe that music education and experiences should be accessible for all, and that music is a universal language that can change lives and create much needed connection.

The Front Porch connects people through music. The Front Porch has a community music schools for over 600 students (of all ages and levels), provides tuition assistance and scholarships for many students. The Front Porch also has an outreach program, that provides free weekly music education to over 1000 children in the community as well as seniors. The Front Porch also has a small music venue, offering pay what you can ticketing and hosts a summer concert series Rivanna Roots.
