Who We Are
Established in 2005, the Greene Care Clinic provides free healthcare and mental health support for uninsured adult residents of Greene County, Virginia whose household income is less than 300% of the federal poverty level. We are a non-profit organization depending solely on private donations, fundraising and grants. We are members of the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics.
What We Do
The Greene Care Clinic provides free healthcare, mental health counseling and prescription support to uninsured adult residents whose household income is less than 300% FPL. We have an all-volunteer medical team, consisting of MDs, NPs, PAs and RNs. The clinic is open on Monday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 am to 12 noon. Patients are seen by appointment only. We also coordinate a Community Medical Supply Closet in Stanardsville that is open on Mondays (10 am - 11 am) and the first and third Saturdays of each month (10 am - 11 am).
