We've taken our tutor training online! Tutors help adult students with reading, writing, and English acquisition skills for two hours a week. Volunteers should be confident with technology and prepared to make a full-year commitment to the program. Training will consist of three virtual sessions on Zoom, with additional online training to be completed between each session. We use the platform Canvas to post videos and exercises.
In February, training is offered Thursday evenings or Tuesday mornings:
- Tuesdays: 16, 23, 2 | 6:00–8:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 18, 25, 4 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
In March, training is offered on Saturdays.
- Saturdays: 13, 20, 27 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
