First Tee - Virginia Blue Ridge is hosting a raffle in conjunction with a putting challenge on two 6-hole putting courses designed on the largest putting green in Virginia at Birdwood Golf Course. Participants will receive an additional raffle ticket for each one-putt recorded on either course. We are looking for 5 volunteers, 2 on each of the putting courses to facilitate traffic as well as hand out tickets and 1 to take pictures of the event. Photography experience is not required but is a plus. Pictures could be taken on a high quality phone camera.
UVA and NBA star Ralph Sampson is scheduled to attend the event and show his support.
In appreciation of your help, volunteers will receive a complimentary food and drink ticket.
