Boo Bash, the Virginia Discovery Museum’s annual Halloween family carnival, will have three separate sessions October 27th, 28th, and 29th from 5:30-7:30 pm. This event signup is for Night 2 only.
This Spooky Season will see the return of our annual Boo Bash! This Halloween themed carnival will be taking place over three nights at reduced capacity this year to be more Covid-19 safe, full of fun activities for Charlottesville families to enjoy. And we need your help! Don your favorite costume (optional) and work with us to give the museum a spooky makeover, get some behind the scenes event prep experience, and have fun running booths for guests all around the museum. These activities will include games and crafts that span from creating a Witch’s Potion to Cryptid Zoology.
Volunteers will be expected to:
- Greet visitors and lead them through your station’s activity
- Communicate your station’s needs with museum staff
- Event clean-up (take down tables/signs, clean event space, bring supplies to storage area

Volunteer shifts are from 5-8pm and include cleanup. Volunteers must arrive no later than 5pm to be assigned and directed to their station. No split shifts. All volunteers are required to be vaccinated against Covid and masked.
