We've taken our tutor training online! Tutors help adult students with reading, writing, and English acquisition skills for two hours a week.
Literacy Volunteers is now training volunteers to tutor adults virtually. Tutors are needed to help teach reading, writing, and English skills to adults in our community. Many of our students are refugees and immigrants trying to become integrated members of our community. Virtual training opportunities are now offered each month. The next training will be held on Tuesday mornings, February 15, February 22, March 1 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Volunteers must attend all three sessions.
