We are recruiting compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to tutor adults in English speaking, reading, and writing. Additionally, many of our students need support preparing for their U.S. Citizenship interviews.
If you would like to provide one-to-one instruction to adults in our community, we invite you to attend a New Tutor Training. No teaching experience is required, only a desire to help learners reach their educational goals. We will offer both in-person and virtual training sessions this fall.
August's training will be at Northside Library. We will provide a lunch of sandwiches and chips to all volunteers.
After completing training, volunteers will meet with the Program Manager to discuss availability and student preferences.
