The Back to School Bash is a community-wide event that helps students and families start the school year with the supplies, resources, and support they need. This year, we expect to distribute approximately 2,000 backpacks, along with other supplies and materials, to families during the event.
Clean-up volunteers will help us close out the event well. This may include breaking down tables and chairs, collecting signs, gathering leftover supplies, organizing materials for storage or redistribution, removing trash, and helping make sure the event space is left clean and ready for what comes next.
This role may involve standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, or moving items. We will have a variety of tasks available and will do our best to match volunteers with work that fits their ability and comfort level. When you sign up, please leave a note sharing any accessibility accommodations or needs we should be aware of so we can plan appropriately and support your participation.
