Make the Greene County Senior Community Center outdoor area more inviting for our older adults! Our outdoor furniture needs to be sanded and repainted so that the center members can enjoy the good weather. Volunteers will sand and repaint the outdoor chairs, so this project is best for children old enough to successfully manage a paintbrush, ages 10 and up. If you bring younger children, please be sure an adult or teen is available to supervise them at all times.
We will have paint, brushes, sandpaper, drinks and snacks. If you have an electric or battery-powered sander, please bring it as that would be helpful. Wear old clothes and prepare to get messy and to have some fun!
PLEASE REGISTER (families may register as a group) by completing the online JABA Volunteer Application no later than Friday, April 11. (Or find the application link at our website: www.jabacares.org/become-a-volunteer ) Choose "Group", complete the required fields, include the number of volunteers in your group and that you are interested in the Family Volunteer Weekend/Greene County painting project.
