The IRC in Charlottesville is in need of volunteers who can orient clients on how to use the Public Transportation System in the area. Many clients do not have access to their own means of transportation yet and are reliant on public transit. Knowledge of the bus system is preferred, but not necessary. Opportunities would involve using the bus system with clients and familiarizing them with bus routes, fares, and other norms that they may not be aware of.
