Join Bartlett Tree Experts at Botanical Garden of the Piedmont. The arborist crew will be clearing invasive vines, removing dead and dangerous trees and branches. Volunteers will support the Bartlett crew by moving cut materials away from the work zone. There will also be invasive plant removal, and moving and spreading mulch along trails and in gathering areas.
Please wear sturdy, waterproof footwear, the site tends to be wet. Bring your own work gloves and hand tools such as pruners/loppers/hedge clippers.
Teams of three are needed to move and spread mulch. A wheelbarrow, mulch fork and steel rake are needed for each team.
