We will be picking up trash along the restored section of Meadow Creek before it washes farther downstream and eventually to the Chesapeake Bay. Conditions are likely to be wet and muddy , so waterproof shoes or boots are strongly recommended. We also recommend bring gardening/work gloves, water, and any snacks you will want.
There are two places we can have volunteers meet. We can meet and the end of Michie Dr right off Hydraulic Rd. (link) or along Greenbrier Dr near Kerry Lane (link). Note that the address on this event page are approximations. For the Greenbrier Dr location you can park near and around the residential streets to get to the intersection of Kerry Ln and Greebrier Dr. And for the Michie Dr location the creek is right next to the very end of that road, and Michie Dr is large and out-of-the-way enough to just park on the side of the road.
