Come learn how to test stream water quality with us in the Garden's very own urban stream! This citizen science opportunity allows kids to learn firsthand about the tools and methods used to monitor streams over time. We will publish the results from testing on our website so you can see our ongoing records. Limited registration, so RSVP soon with your name, group size, and which event you're signing up.
We need about 3 volunteers to help supervise testing and analyze results, please indicate to us via email or your registration description if you want to help supervise.
Address/directions: 950 Melbourne Road, Charlottesville, VA, 22902. Centrally located just one walking mile from downtown, the Garden is on the corner of John Warner Parkway and Melbourne Road. Parking is available on Melbourne Road adjacent to the Charlottesville High School Football Field.
