Day of Caring is our annual day of service to engage employees of areas businesses in service to tax exempt organization. Projects vary from in person manual labor to virtual projects or in kind donation drives. The majority of projects are concentrated in Charlottesville and Albemarle Counties, but they can extend to the surrounding counties including projects taking place in Shenandoah National Park. There are projects for everyone because everyone can serve.
2022 is the 31st occurrence of this special day in our community. Thank you for taking part in this tradition. You honor a legacy of service in our community such as that of Laurence E. Richardson whom the Day of Caring was named after in the early 2000s. Our community is stronger when we work interconnectedly.
