Sensory Experience Support for Children with Autism

Keswick Sensory needs volunteers willing to make a difference in the lives of children with autism. We provide a day of fun, adventure, and learning for these children at no cost, supported entirely by our volunteers and supporters. There are many roles on the farm for our volunteers to fit into depending on individual skills and interests. Our volunteers, led by our staff members, support the family throughout their experience during the day. Our day experience for the families includes horseback riding, interacting with livestock such as goats, pigs, and sheep, tackling obstacles on our 1/4 mile walking trail, and crafts. Lunch is included for families and volunteers. Volunteers are able to participate in the full experience, or to find the role they are most comfortable with.
