Greenleaf Park is a lovely "pocket park" in Cville at 1528 Rose Hill Drive. The Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards have planted a wide variety of trees, shrubs and ferns along the stream that runs through the park. On this day, we will be weeding the area and applying mulch around the plants and pathways. Depending on the numbers of folk who come, we can also do some invasive control of vines growing up the trees in the park. We will have some tools, but you can also bring your own (garden rakes, hand rakes, hand pruners, loppers). Poison ivy is in the area, so be sure to wear closed toe shoes, long pants, long sleeved shirts and gloves. Bring something to drink. We will provide snacks. Parking is available in the park and also on the adjacent streets.
