Who We Are
Hospice of the Piedmont is a community-based nonprofit hospice that has offered expert care and peaceful resolution to Virginia families for over 40 years. We’re here for more than the end. We’re here to care for patients and their families as they navigate serious illness and death, and offer grief and bereavement services to the entire community.
What We Do
Since 1980, Hospice of the Piedmont has been leading families in Virginia through the experience of serious illness and death. We’re a community based nonprofit—that means we offer the broadest range of services to the widest number of people possible, no matter what it takes.
Our calling extends far beyond caring for patients. Death affects spouses and children, friends and neighbors, and the community at large. So, we offer grief and bereavement services to everyone, whether they’ve used our hospice services or not. It’s challenging work that takes a strong, passionate, diverse team.
