Patient Focused Volunteers

Hospice of the Piedmont is seeking volunteers to provide such things as companionship, respite, yard work, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation for our patients and families.  Certified massage and Reiki therapists are also needed, as well as notaries.  If you are a veteran, would love to have you be a part of our We Honor Veterans Program to honor patient's with military backgrounds.  Our patient-focused volunteers are required to complete a 16-hour training course and we ask that volunteers commit to volunteering with us for at least one year.  If you are interested in learning more about our program, please contact Patty Swain at (434) 817-6917 or fill out an application on our website at www.hopva.org.  Thank you for your interest in providing support to our patients and families!
